Requirements analysis is the part of system development in which people attempt to discover what is desired. [GW89].

  • People: Human activity.
  • Attempt: No guarantee of success.
  • Discover: Requirements are unknown at the start.
  • Desire: Requirements are based on what a client is asking for.

Focus:

  1. Requirements in agile projects where essential functionalities still need to be discovered.

  2. Quality requirements.
